Welcome to Dan Kitchen35 Foundation
The Queen’s Centre in Hull is working with the Danny Kitching35 Foundation. Danny died young of an aggressive form of Bowel Cancer.
Whilst receiving treatment at the Queen’s Centre, Danny and his family realised that patients who were being treated on the wards and in the outpatients department could do with extra support that is not available from the centre.
Even when he was at the end of his life, Danny wanted to make a difference to those that came after him. The foundation was born.
The Foundation’s aim is to support cancer patients and their families to be as comfortable as possible while receiving treatment as an outpatient and on the wards.
The Foundation has raised money for care packs (pictured), so that patients and carers can be as comfortable as possible at this time.
Danny’s generosity lives on through his continued support to patients and their carers.
We are deeply honoured to support these fantastic initiatives with customised comfort packs which meet the needs of patients and their families at such a difficult and emotional time.
